Went in to get two watch batteries replaced. Was in and out in ten minutes. The employee was very nice and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend for watch repair.

Friendly service and only place it town that was able to fix my watch that I received as a gift for my father. Most places did not have the pin that I needed.

I honestly don't know how this place stays in business as it seems like they are never open. I've tried to give them business three times during normal business hours, but they have been closed. Today I just tried to stop by at 9:45 (they supposedly open at 9:30) and it was locked up tight. I won't be back.

Swanks has been a fixture in Ames for 2 generations.  Handed down from father to son, Swanks is the "swankiest" jewry store in town.  You can trust Swanks to provide outstanding customer service and value.  Stop in next time you are downtown and see their selection!
