SwedishAmerican-a Division of UW Health, is a not-for-profit, locally governed healthcare system dedicated to providing excellence in healthcare and compassionate care to our community.

Headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, SwedishAmerican serves 12 counties in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

SwedishAmerican holds many annual events such as Planting the Seeds of Hope Breast Cancer Awareness events, Puttin’ on the Glitz Fashion Show and Luncheon, Heart Care Ask The Experts, as well as our Cardiology Millennium event for professionals.

We also offer classes and support groups for new moms, and support groups for those suffering with diabetes and heart disease.

Our BetterLife Wellness, a SwedishAmerican medical wellness center located within the I.D. Pennock Family YMCA, offers comprehensive programs with everything you need to reach your health and fitness goals!
