I’m new to the neighborhood and have been checking out all of the different ice cream parlors and this one is definitely my new go to. It can be tricky to spot at first but once you see the  large “Shop The Alley” sign you just will follow that. Not only is their ice cream great but the baked goods are great as well. Can’t wait to go back later.

Great service, amazing ice cream and sweet treats. Bryce is awesome in his service and super helpful with his knowledge on ingredients and products.  Got the dark side ice cream and monster cookie and both are delish.

Had a late dinner at Bai Tong Thai Street Cafe. Which was wonderful.   I thought we were done for the day when the kids said how about ice cream? Lol I can never say no to ice cream.   I said well if there’s anything close by.  Luckily for them google found Sweet Alchemy Ice Cream.  Little gem tucked away in a lighted up alley.  Limited on choices. Nothing like 31 flavors at a Baskin robins. But that was ok.  They made it up with their unique options.  Kids were happy and definitely enjoyed what they ordered.  We had 15 minutes to order before closing time.  Yet the gentleman at counter did not make us feel rushed.  We had time to chat and found out he went to college pretty close to where we live.  Small world! With that said it was a nice way to end the day,  the ice cream was on point and satisfied our tastebuds plus customer service was great!

4.3/5 we had the cookies and cream pint for $13. The ice cream was pretty good and tasted like they used fresh ingredients, however, it wasn't the best that I've had in Seattle and it was quite expensive. Overall, wouldn't recommend as I've had better ice cream in Seattle.Food: 4/5

Genuinely the BEST ice cream I've had in Seattle! The worker who I think was the owner was also so nice and told me a few things nearby to check out because I hadn't been there before.  10/10 will be returning.

Honestly I’d love to love this place because it’s a nice little local shop, but the reality is this place just isn’t that good. The ice cream is ok. The portions are tiny for the price. They ration samples why?. Salt and Straw, despite being a bigger “chain” is much better.Food: 3/5

Surprisingly mediocre. Very limited flavor selection half of which had caffeine. You’re not allowed to sample. More importantly the ice cream wasn’t good. It was icy, not creamy, and lacked much flavor. The portion is also small and extremely expensive. I don’t plan to returnFood: 1/5

Love, love, love this place! There's not many places to get a ice cream cookie sandwich but Sweet Alchemy definitely does it the best! Because of COVID, you can't really sample flavors but I can guarantee that all of their ice cream is great and tasty. If you want to try multiple, you can get a cup and scoop a few flavors in but if you're bold like me, commit to one and throw it on with some cookies! I'm a big fan of the Darkside, Earl Grey and Makgeolli flavors, enjoy it in the hidden gem that is Chophouse Row!

Didn't even get to buy any ice cream! What kind of ice cream shop only allows one sample??I sampled the banana Nutella and It tastes artificial. The clerk said I can't try anything else so I left. What a stupid policy.Food: 1/5

Small and cute store in a cool and hip setting.  They have delicious ice cream in unique flavors, some are vegan. The server is very nice and friendly.
