Finally a shop in town dedicated to fresh Hispanic sweets, breads, and treats. This has a good selection really well stocked, it's self serve and the owners are friendly. They sell churros here too, wasn't any when I came but I will definitely be back to try. Has that bakery smell : Also sell cakes, ice cream, and have a full lunch menu including cheesesteaks. Come in there is something for everyone here! Very conveniently located in the plaza next-door from buffalo wild wings.
Fantastic prices! Super nice guys inside to help explain what they have baked and what it tastes like. Pastries and breads were delicious! Again, very impressed with the prices! Maybe just need to do a deep cleaning! Thanks so much for the delicious baked goods! Not too many legit bakeries in Winchester.
I ordered a cake for my Chief’s 90th birthday! I live in TN. When my husband and I went to pick up the cake I knew we had chosen well. The shop was very busy. The staff was helping anyone they could and they were all very kind and helpful. By the end of the birthday celebration, I believe everyone had commented on how delicious the cake was. Thank you
One of the few bakeries in Winchester. There is a good selection of baked goods to choose from. The price is great too! Worth trying if you’re in the area.
The Pan de Muerto bread was bingeable. Delicious. Also the elote tamales for Day of the Dead were good. Going back for chicken tamales this Saturday. Winchester has been far too long without this food. Being from California, I've missed it, and I hate that we have to drive to NOVA to get ethnic foods of most kinds. Very clean. Parking fine, it's in a strip mall. Staff very helpful and friendly and some speak English.
It's a fantastic treat to finally have a real bakery such as this one in Winchester. Having lived in Mexico for 4 months, and becoming familiar with and loving the various homemade pastries there, it's great to be able to enjoy them freshly made from Sweet Alondra's anytime! Very good bakery items. Truly authentic. Great variety, as well. Convenient location. Helpful staff. Met owner working the front counter. They had some fresh tamales for sale that day, too. Really cool. Easy to grab what you want, check out, and head home to enjoy!
Super cute place with amazing pastries. The staff was also super nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend a trip! We traveled from NJ to Luray Caverns this place is worth to add to your road trip.
I am always looking for bakeries and this one popped up as it opened recently. As a non-hispanic I am not familiar with Hispanic pastries. I was planning on just trying one or two but ended up walking out with a bakers dozen worth of treats. They were all yummy and prices very reasonable.. The young man who helped us was super friendly and informative. Cannot wait to try their subs too. Highly recommend.
I went in today for the first time after seeing this restaurant for awhile, and it was a very pleasant experience. They have a good looking bakery section and the sales associate who was helping me was very very happy for the business and quite helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, I recommend the steak sandwich and fries. Everything tasted fresh and the wait wasn’t too long. Over 10/10 experience. Thank you for the great food t a great price
