This is more of a day camp for families, not quite suited for relaxation or getaways. Camp grounds are decent sizes, but too close to each other. Facilities are very poorly maintained. Staff are as rude as they are impatient. Boat dock is in ok shape. Fishing is decent, if you leave the shore. Plenty of room for kids to run around.

Lovely campsite with gorgeous views. We had hoped to return next year, but thanks to the incredibly disrespectful staff, we will scout for a better option. I am a young adults leader at our Hispanic church, and I took some of our youth and leadership team on a camping trip. We reserved 3 campsites, meant to fit 24 people, but we were only 17 people. We figured we'd be better off with more spece! The first night was good. People in neighboring campsites, however, were drinking and smoking whilst playing their music way too loud after hours. Still, they got no consequences. Our second night, we decided to play an acoustic guitar and sing worship songs by the fire. Well, we got yelled at by the "park ranger" for being "too loud". Never mind that we did this at 8:00pm, and quiet hours started at 10:00pm. After this, we decided to not make it a big deal, and leave the music aside and just sit by the fire. Well, the park ranger for some odd reason decided to return to our campsite and scream at us much more aggressively again. He threatened is by saying that "things could get ugly". He brought security with him, and interrogated us about having alcohol. Which, for obvious reason (we were a church group and had minors with us), we did not have. Funny enough, the people in the campsite right in front of ours had beers and marijuana visible to all, but they got nothing form the "park ranger".

Camp host was incredibly rude. We were on a church retreat for our Latino group. The first night we were there and every campground was incredibly loud that it was hard to sleep but no rangers or anyone came out. The second night we decided to do some singing around the camp fire and the ranger came and asked us to be quieter, even before quiet time started! We complied but the next thing we know is we have security coming and telling us to be quiet again after only whispering. He tried to tell us that we are being too loud, asked us if we had any alcohol as he shines a flashlight on the table and in all of our eyes, and said "we don't want this to get ugly do we?" Before anyone could answer he told us we could only have 8 people per campsite after dark even though we rented 3 campsites. Or that a car that was parked on the dirt road had to be touching asphalt at all times. He then proceeded to tell the ranger how to deal with "punks" like us afterwards in their golf cart before leaving. Very rude staff and we felt very discriminated against for our religion and race. Beautiful park but the people are not to kind in charge

It's pretty much a rip off if u plan on camping. U have to make your reservation a year in advance and leave $150 non refundable deposit. So unless your a Gambling Man. In my opinion it's not worth it.

Horrendous staff. Extremely unwelcoming and very rude to our hispanic group. For starters, the "help" desk was not very helpful. They refused to sell us fire wood and gave us wrong directions to our campsite and told us the wrong checkout time. Then the camp ranger came to us well before quiet hours and gave us a long and extremely rude and derogatory lecture about keeping it down. He said if he could hear us from his camp then we were being too loud. News flash ranger! If your camp is directly behind us, odds are you are going to hear us somewhat! So after that lecture we really took care to be quiet and only spoke in really soft voices and guess what? The ranger came again and started to give us the same lecture when one of us spoke up and said that we had been quiet and he called over camp security who then searched us for alcohol (We had none) all the while calling us little punks. I'm excuse me? We had 16 people camping all between the age of 20 and 30 and you have the nerve to call us little punks? He then gave us another lecture on what it means to be quiet and asked us over and over if we were looking for problems. Then he said if he had to come over again we would be kicked off the premise immediately. We just went to bed after that and left Asap the next morning, but not before the same ranger yelled at us to put out fire out (We didn't even have a fire going) the really infuriating part about all this is that there were several extremely loud groups who he never stopped to ask to keep it down. There were also groups who had alcohol out in the open and nothing was done about it. We felt that there was a lot of discrimination against us. It's a beautiful park with a nice camp ground but I will never be back and I will not recommend this park to anyone.
