If I never come to this terminal again it will be too soon!!!!! The yard is EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED!  I had to move 3 trailers just to get to mine,  parking is very limited if any very disappointed in SWIFT!!!!!

It's a good company to start your OTR trucking career out with. If you're a vet, they'll cover your tuition expense of $3,900 in exchange for a 1 year commitment. They may also cover your transportation costs and lodging for your training at Swift Academy. If you're a non veteran, they'll start reimbursing your costs in monthly increments starting on your 13th month anniversary through your 24th (or 26th month depending on how fast you finish your training. 
There's a lot of downtime that comes with living inside your tractor, so be prepared. There's times when you're working and not getting paid for it (like putting on tire chains, etc). 
And your home time is valued like taking a vacation. After 1 year, I heard you get 1 week of paid vacation, so that's nice. I've been driving solo now since 9/2016. Always recommend taking a backing class whenever possible: it will help you out greatly down the road.

A Swift truck driver is too dangerous to be on the road.  Swift needs to fire him before he kills someone.  On Monday, 11/28/16, at 7.45 pm, driving north on I-5 approximately 2 miles north of the Washington-Oregon border, this lunatic driver was speeding, then repeatedly flashed his lights at us, while he tailgated our vehicle.  He was no more than 5 feet away from our vehicle.  Swift managers - remove this driver from your employ NOW!
