Creative, responsive, absolutely exceeded my expectations! 

I'm not in San Diego, so I needed a bakery that offered delivery to get a special cake to our San Diego team. Luckily I found Sylvia's Cakes. Sylvia answered the phone right away, calculated delivery fee based on mileage (a lot of other bakeries have a flat fee) and turned my boring instructions into something delicious and totally amazing. Sylvia completely surprised me by making the cake match our company branding! No hitches on delivery, and everyone loved the vanilla-caramel cake. (Here it is next to a store bought cheesecake.) Worth every penny!

I ordered a cake for a military promotion and gave her all creative design after emailing a few pictures that I liked.  She delivered the cake to my front door, when I asked.  Even honestly suggested a smaller cake than I wanted due to the size of people in my party.  Her honesty and attention to detail is what makes her 5/5 stars.  And of course the cake was yummy!  I ordered a lemon cake with raspberry filling...so good.

I ordered a Harry Potter cake and to my amazement it turned out Fantasic!!!! Not only did we love it but everyone at the party loved it to! The cake was very good .. I highly recommend Sylvia’s cakes ..

They had the best breakfast sandwich I ever had. I was in the for the weekend with friends and I am super glad that I came here for breakfast. Their quiche was good, but their breakfast sandwich is definitely a must try. Their salsa also goes very very well with their breakfast food. They don't have much seating, but people come in and go pretty fast. If you are in the area, definitely a must try.

Sylvia's cakes was able to accommodate my last minute order and changes. The cake was beautiful. The red velvet cake could've been more moist, but it was delicious anyway. All my guests loved it!
