I asked for 10% off of an item due to a frayed thread on the button hole.  The cashier asked the coordinator for approval.  The coordinator verbally approved.  Cashier rang up transaction.  I got to the exit and looked at the receipt.  The item had been rung up at the clearance tag price which was tagged that way when i picked it out.  I took the shirt back to the coordinator and explained.  She said she gave the discount by putting the clearance tag on item ticket.  I told her the clrarance tag was already on the item ticket.  Then she lied about putting on the clearance price sticker on the item ticket again.  I told the manager what happened on the way out of the store.  No response from him.  Sad customer service at T.J. Maxx, otherwise known to me now as T.J. Minimum...

Beware of the jewelry section! Apparently, if you're young, or hispanic (not sure what she discriminates on) you're a waste of space to the women who's in charge there! I've never felt so unwanted, or completely offended, then I did with this women. The 4 star review goes to the manager or whoever the guy was that overheard me telling the cashier of my problem with the women because he did not hesitate to intervene & let me know that he was so sorry for my experience & he was going to have a very serious talk with her. I'm not one to get people in trouble (seriously, I take a lot from a lot of people) but this situation just seemed like it was something that couldn't be ignored & it was handled very professionally by the man
