Story

Table 5 is located in the heart of historic Northville’s downtown area on Main Street. The building was built in 1867 and has a rich ancestry of Restaurants being in that location.We are a stones throw away from the Tipping Point Theatre, Historic Mill Race Village and of course the diverse shopping stores that make up the charm that is Northville.We are open Monday through Saturday from 5 pm until 11 pm. Come join us for dinner.

Nice menu with daily specials. The panko encrusted halibut is there signature dish which is very good. The whitefish special was also good. On Saturday the place fills and the noise level increases.

We drive 35 minutes to eat here two or three times a month. Their menu is inventive. Their preparation is detailed and well executed and the presentation is wonderful. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the food and can put together an excellent wine pairing. The specials are Wednesdays are the best deal in town. The best bar tender in all of Southeastern Michigan, is here. Once he meets you he never forgets your name and your favorite drink. The owner is always there and that is always pleasant and helpful. We love this place.

Cozy & friendly. Always well prepared food & choices a bit more interesting and elaborate than most places. Wait staff very nice & work hard to please. Weekday early Happy Meal a great deal which includes glass of wine or beer & interesting appetiser if your trying to keep it light on the gut & wallet.

Three stars is probably a bit too high of a rating; 2.5 is more accurate. The food was good but not great and the portions were about 2/3 of what they should have been, based on the prices. I've had better Mahi Mahi for half the price (it was their Special tonight). The biggest problem was the speed. They were not overly busy... maybe 3/4 full. After being seated before 6:30 on a Saturday, it took 15 minutes to get drinks and another 30 minutes to get a salad. We actually had to change our plans for the night because we were there over two hours. On the plus side, the staff was very nice, though they never apologized for being so slow:
