As close to Israel as you'll get in Chicago. Super fresh and everything is excellent. A great departure from the usual meat and potatoes options in Chicago. Prices are a little high but to be expected for a Kosher restaurant. The owner is always behind the counter, friendly and ensures you're happy. Try the kibbeh, it's excellent.

Me and my family have been going to Taboun for many years. The food is always very good the servers are very nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. I pretty much order the same thing every time I go the Moroccan Cigars are a must to try you will love them a bit spicy but delicious and the chicken breast pita also very good. A great way to get a little taste of the Middle East while still living in Chicago!

The food is marvelous there's a wonderful variety you can have an entree or you could have a sandwich it depends on your taste but you can order different combinations of things the price is definitely more than moderate but well worth it for the well-prepared and very tasty tasty food the hot sauce was the best I've ever had it's in a strip mall so there is parking although when I was there it was very crowded
