My wife and I stopped here while traveling through town and were pleasantly surprised. This place offers typical fast food Tex-Mex fare with a decidedly New Mexican flair (aka green chiles). The service was extremely quick, the staff very friendly and the food quite tasty. If you are looking for a cheap quick bite and something unique the region give Taco Box a try.

Very overpriced. Not that great. The food is decent, but over $9 for a green chile cheeseburger with a small cup of dried out tater tots and a small Dr Pepper that's mostly ice isn't worth it.

Great options at great prices! The chicken chimi is addicting and the hot sauce has a nice kick. Will definitely eat here again when back in Portales.
