Taco John's back home in Georgia is very good.  I was glad to find one here in Bellevue.
  I ordered a Combo Burrito, as usual. The price was a lot higher, but I marked that up to local conditions.
  Then I got my burrito. I was astounded at how tiny it was!  Less than half the size of the ones back home! Still tasted okay, but, wow!  Very disappointed!

Great food.  Extremely courteous staff.  They offer a military discount, any form of military ID will work.  If you've never had them, you gotta try the potato ole's.  If you have had them you gotta get the potato ole's.  Restaurant is very clean as well.

They are great at forgetting to put the nacho cheese in the bag. They don't forget to charge you for it though. Something is messed up 9 out of 10 visits.

in my 21 years of living I have never had such a miserable experience at a place I love and visit frequently. the cashier made a mistake on my order, and came back twice to ask what I meant. when I told her, the food maker still gave me the wrong order being pretty snappy about it. I checked my order in the car to see the mistake and came back in to politely ask for the correct meal. after that I witnessed the food maker again make my meal correctly this time, however he was furious and threw my food around and the tools he used to make it. I told the cashier what I witnessed and her only response was "oh" and walked away. I am a very any customer right now...

Lots of vegan friendly options

Taco Johns is a small chain through the Midwest where we stop when traveling because there are several items on their menu that are vegan friendly, from Bean burritos to bean tostadas etc. They even come out and say on their web site that their refried beans are vegan!! Their potato ole also are listed as "no allergen" so they are vegan, too!

I heard on the radio something about Taco Tuesday so I called and crispy tacos are on sale on Tuesday. So I asked if I could get mine with beans instead of beef and was told yes. Then I asked if I could substitute potatoes for beef for the Taco Tuesday price and again was told yes! 

If you like tacos, for the price, this is a great fast food vegan option. Beans are high in fiber and protein and no cholesterol, so I am always happy when food on the road is this easy. The potatoes are really good, too, in fact for just .30 more I could have ordered a bean instead of beef taco and added the potato, I might do that next time!

The clerk was VERY nice, helpful and ensured my order was made without cheese. I will visit this restaurant again, especially on Taco Tuesday!
