I've been going to this taco truck for 3 years and it has grown into such a great business. The customer service is amazing they will bring it to your car when it is cold out and add any additional sauces. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE TACOS THEY ARE AMAZING. Only place I go when I'm craving

We had an opening First Friday launch party (6-9 pm) for our new space in Five Points. Tacos Costa Grande reached out saying they would set up between 6-8 pm in our parking area for the event. We, as such, advertised this in our event description, invitations, etc., as having a Food truck with tacos available for purchase. We expected between 50-100 people and this was communicated prior to Tacos Costa Grande agreeing to serve at the event. They said they would arrive a little after 5 pm to set up, etc. They arrived around 5:40 (later than communicated) and began setting up. At 6 pm, we had around 10 people in the space and I was running around putting final details on everything. I looked up at 6:10 to the food truck pulling away down the road. Calling them in shock, they picked up and said they were going somewhere else "because they ran a business and wanted to make money" inferring that they didn't think enough people would be coming through or wondering why people hadn't starting buying tacos right when they got there, and proceeded to hang up the phone on me. As a business owner myself, a verbal commitment to staying until 8 pm was then an expectation set to my customers. We ended up having over 100 people come through the event, and that number would have been much higher from walking / drive by Five Points traffic with the food truck. With that, there were also 100 hungry people wondering where the tacos were at that they made eating plans around. We resorted to having an employee run out to snag nugget trays from Chik-Fil-A. Extremely disappointed in the customer service and word of the owners and staff of Tacos Costa Grande.

Everything I've had there is great but the barbacoa quesadilla was my favorite.

I go here at least four times every Thursday through Sunday, it is the best food truck I have ever been to! The tacos are huge with amazing tortillas, and really fill you up, and the quesodillas and tortas are ridiculously good, i have to get one every time I go! Both the green and red sauces are delicious, the red one has a nice kick! If you haven't been, you should definitely try it, it's incredible!
