We love going here for lunch -- we most often get the Young's combo with crispy lumpia and pancit noodles. Super yummy! Also, if you call them ahead of time, they can have your food hot and ready to go when you get there. They also do a whole fried tilapia, and a really tasty sour soup with cabbage and pork.

Sorry - I submitted my initial review accidentally just now, without all the details: Just ate lunch at Talk of the Town today. It's the only place I've ever had Filipino food. Delicious! From my first visit: LOVE the lumpia (a skinny, crisply fried meat-filled egg roll with dipping sauce) and enjoyed the adobo chicken/pork plate (liked the chicken best). From today's visit: I had an Americanized version of the pinakbet and took their strong recommendation to omit the "stinky fish" component since it's an acquired taste. The result: I loved the stir-fried veggies, tiny shrimp, bitter melon, and tiny bits of pork with a light fishy taste and a big mound of white rice. I'm going to try the full recipe next time; I think it includes fish paste and anchovies (we'll see). I'm also interested in trying the coconut bread the lady at the cash register mentioned. One caution: They cook to order, so it's not always a quick meal, depending on what you order. I recommend eating here if you have time and enjoy trying new dishes. My meal today was just over $9 for a big plate of food and a soft drink, including taxes -- and I stayed on my diet. The main dish was 3 Weight Watches Points Plus for the pinakbet, with another 5 points for a cup of the rice (the plate held at least two cups of it). ;o) Atmosphere: It's a basic little hometown restaurant in a small Southern town, nothing fancy.
