The people who hire service for payroll, taxes, and bookkeeping,  pay companies like Tampa Bay Accounting and Associates to take the stress out of the business side of things. Most business owners are state licensed in their occupation. They take for granted that the accounting services they hire should also have degrees in the services they provide. Not at Tampa Bay Accounting and Associates. Michelle posesses a Sunbiz LLC. She has no accounting degree. She isnt an enrolled agent with the IRS. She hires who she can to accomadate what she promises here clients. Tampa Bay Accounting Service is a great concept. The reality of this company is simple. Michelle will tell you what you want to hear and charge you for poor service. I am now stuck in the middle of an audit for worker's comp. The Field auditor disclosed the fact that I overpaid my worker's comp by 7400 in 2017. This is after I had to write a check for 20,000 to catch my worker's comp up  for not reporting accurate payroll early in 2017. This is the worst service I had ever had. Thanks to Tampa Bay Accounting my time is spent with audits and penalties. Be carefull who you trust to take care of your books. In my opinion Michelle is a piece of work...she will lie to you, blame it on a staff member that had nothing to do with it, and then tell you where to go if you bring any issues to her attention. If I ran my company like this I would be out of business. Thanks for standing up and doing the right thing. Took my money and provided at best a glimps into how things are really supposed to work. Nice try and thanks for making my experience one I will never forget.....Stay away...you have been warned

I became an independent contractor a few months ago and was in desperate need of an accountant. I have known Michelle since we were kids and asked for her help. I live in PA and she was still more than willing to help me with my taxes. She was very professional and knows what she is doing. I was pleasantly surprised this year with how my taxes turned out. Michelle is friendly and extremely patient. I will not go anywhere else for my taxes and I feel at ease that I now have an accountant for my business that has a lot of knowledge and professionalism. If you want friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable service I would use Tampa Bay Accounting and Associates.

As a local business owner Tampa Bay Accounting is fantastic! Great service and great prices. They are very knowledgeable and highly responsive. Michelle and Monica have been incredible and have gone above and beyond exceeding all our expectations. A real pleasure to work with too!   They have done monthly service for us, clean up of records, personal and business taxes. We have been highly satisfied!

Michelle and her team are EXTREMELY professional! They help out all of my clients with bookkeeping, etc. If you are looking for some hard working ladies to help out your business needs this is the place to go! I can not say enough good things about this firm.

I have been a client with this accounting company since 2011 and can assure you on their knowledge and professionalism. Ms. Velez herself has assisted where needed but her staff is Exemplary as well!!They have found numerous errors I myself thought I had caught!! Thank you for all you guys have done and continue to do!! Highly recommend A+++!!
