The Tampa Bay downs is one of my favorite places to go when I go to Florida. It makes for a great day every time I go. First of all the food is very good and is responsibly priced from 6-12 dollars a meal. Once you start betting you will find that the staff is friendly and the optional computers are simple and easy to use. Lastly the seating options very from out or benches, tables etc. To indoor tables and even a club area. Over all I recommend the downs for beginners and experienced gamblers

Customer service is terrible. You asked one employee about something as easy as changing the TV and the responses oh well maybe someone else can do it. I thought Tampa Downs was an up-and-coming race track the staff makes it a Mickey Mouse operation

Nice day at the horse races. No admission fee only spend what you want on refreshments and races. Fun time.

Great people but by far the Dirtiest kitchen I've seen. 
-lack of sanitation practices or protocols.
- no temperature gauge records kept 
- broken temperature gauges.
- no labels or dates on sauces or food products. 
-lack of management.
- cooked foods next to raw foods.
-lack of food rotation, etc. 

Has alot of potential to be a professional kitchen but Seriously jepardizing to the health of your fellow employees and customers. Really sad, Don't see myself coming back there as a customer... shouldn't be allowed to serve food.

Nice clean facility. Went for the Octoberfest celebration, beer,brats,kraut, cabbage and German potatoes salad. The Downs holds other events at different times. Enjoyed the Weiner dog races. Will be back for live racing. Relaxing place with free parking.
