I was skeptical of this place at first, it’s definitely a hole in the wall. The food tasted great for sure and I like the veggie/salsa bar. Authentic tacos, etc. I simply give a 3 star due to uncleanliness of the restaurant. Bathrooms were a mess, dirty tables, and the place altogether was a little run down.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
The food is good but the service sucks. I’ve went on multiple occasions and received poor service, but again I love their food! Today I called in a order and I waited about 25 minutes to arrive and as always I had to wait even longer when I got there. After about 20 minutes of waiting they walk up to me telling me that can’t find my order. I love supporting small businesses and like I said I love their food but it’s safe to say I want be back.
This is it. This is the real stuff. You'll walk in the door and immediately recognize this is authentic quality food. Every taco blew my mind. Go. Now! Don't park in the wrong spot though I hear the shop next door gets mad and tows people. Edit: A year later, still amazing! Best Mexican I've had since living in LA!
Maybe I caught them at a bad time I used to love this place , the only place I wanted my tacos from. But this time my order was wrong, food cold made sloppy and missing Cilantro . I only rated one because I needed to leave a review. Sigh....so disappointed
We debated on the 2 mexican restaurants by our hotel. This one was connected to the gas station. We said let's start here and see what they have first. The prices were amazing and might I say we were greeted by some happy lil faces that held the door open for us. I believe they were their children. We ordered the steak burrito highly recommend and the chicken chimi I believe that's what it was any way it was 5.00 and a ton of food. The burrito I think was 8.99 so well worth the money. The kids were great and I believe the owners name was Hector. If we are passing through I would totally eat here again. We picked up drinks also inexpensive at the gas station then walked across the street to our hotel which was also great. Quality Inn
It was awesome! Staff was friendly, polite and took great care of us! We all had Taco's they were AMAZING! This is NOT a Tex Mex place, this is real Mexican food. The salsa, OMG, so so so good! We will be regulars at this place!!! Went there again, it was just as great as the last 2 times!! We so love this place!!!
Best tacos anywhere. I prefer the shrimp tacos, all the way, on flour tortilla. If they have watermelon water, get that to drink.
Fantastic! So glad we stumbled off the interstate here. They had recently moved and it wasn’t well marked in building with gas station. The guacamole is made fresh when you order. The owner gave us 2 suadero lime steak tacos and fresh limeade just to try because it’s their specialty. We would be here all the time if we were local.
If you like good, authentic Mexican, this is the place for you. I love a good torta. This could have been an amazing torta, but the inside of the bun was a bit over toasted so the burnt bread flavor kept creeping in. I also prefer a little refried bean spread on my torta but they don't add it here. But even with that, really good flavors and the torta came with fries. The tacos I saw other people order looked pretty good too. I will certainly eat here again when I'm passing through.
I’ve always supported this place, even when they where in the little shed on Ridge. However, todays visit changed all that. The waitress Candy is horrible. Never got my cheese dip, didn’t get drinks until after our meals arrived and I had to ask for them for the second time. When I mentioned that I wanted the cheese dip off the bill since I never received it, they tried to bring it anyway. I refused it and one of the cooks came out and asked me if I had a problem. I can 100% guarantee you, he better be glad my kids were there. When I went to pay the bill, I was still charged for the cheese dip. I just let it go because I will NEVER return to this unorganized establishment.
