stars for authenticity and price! You know it's good when all the local Mexicans eat there. Great steak tacos. The Mexican grocery store is really neat they sell boots and many other Mexican items including pastries.

Great place. They have a restaurant with mexican food and tables for dine in eating. you can go to the grocery area and get your every day items as well. Mexican candy and fresh produce. Also you can hit the butcher up for fresh cut meat, fish or poultry. The parking lot is small would be my only complaint.

Some of the best Mexican food in Highlands County and it's authentic and very very good prices. Did I mention it was made fresh. Can't say enough good things about Merlo's.
