The place is really wonderful and authentic. The reasons for only 4 stars was the prices were pretty high, some dishes were over $20. And the menu wasn't very big. It kinda seemed like all the dishes were the same, they would just change 1 side item and call it something else. Again this, great tastes and very authentic.

Berlin Schnitzel was wonderful. Also ordered a side of red cabbage. Sweeter than the version I make at home, but then, I am a bad cook. Highly recommended checking this out. We will return to try the sausages.

So far we've only tried two of the Schnitzel plates but this is the second best German food we've ever had. Hostess and manager both speak German, I'm betting most of the staff does as well. Can't wait to have the wursts! Love the partially fried Spatzal.

My wife and I had not been to Taste of Berlin in a while, and so glad we went back today. The food was better than we remembered! The new flatbread appetizer was perfection, every bite completely balanced. We had the veal special and schnitzel, wonderful! And the service was great as usual. Unfortunately there was a man at nearby table who was quite upset that the waitress did not speak German. Really? When we go out for French, Italian, Japanese, etc, we do not expect the staff to speak that language. He was loud and rude and left in a snit without ordering anything, what an absolute troll. We were glad he left so that we could enjoy our dinner.

The food was amazing and our server was very pleasant. Great place to come for authentic German food.
