The most unique restaurant near Oxford. An old time "grocery" that serves the best catfish anywhere, cooked any way you want. Everything else on their menu is good too. But the down-home, write-on-the-walls, wood-floor building is the real star. And don't forget to BYOB as long as you're discreet.

This is a small down-homey style place that's extremely welcoming from the "git go." The rustic feel while live music plays with dinner provides an over all Southern welcome. You can't, also, ignore the Best damn Catfish down South! My family has been and continues to visit "Taylor's" EVERY time we come down  from Lexington, KY to Ole Miss.

The epitome of hole in the wall, incredible southern fried catfish. The atmosphere is always incredible and the music is always excellent. If you're ever around Oxford, MS or Ole Miss, this has to be on your list of sites to visit.

An iconic eating place south of Oxford, MS, that serves the best catfish ever.  Wonderful place for families and groups.  The owner and his wife are always warm and welcoming.

Taylor Grocery is one of our favorite places to eat.  The catfish is excellent and the staff are always pleasant and accommodating.  If you come after 7 you can expect to wait on the front porch and game day weekends are extra busy.
