I recently received a cheque from my insurance company to pay for a vehicle that had been written off (0% my fault) so it was a large sum . The manager Kathy could not have been less helpful. She had the audacity to tell me to take the cheque home and call my insurance company. After 9 phone calls to my company and them talking to her and verifying it was a legitimate cheque. I still can't access the funds until "TD" verifies it. I could not have been more upset with the absolutely terrible service I received today. As soon as all of my funding goes through and things are clear up I will 100% be leaving TD. I have never been more disrespected in my life. "Just take it with you and go home and talk to them" is not something a bank manager should ever say to a customer of 20 years. Good bye TD

Switching to a different bank after my experiences with TD - they made several errors with my accounts, charging me account fees despite being a student who was given a "no fee account", then refusing to refund me the fees they wrongly charged me past three months, despite the issue being ongoing for more than a year. They also charged me for having a paper "passbook" as a kid, despite the fact I handed mine in as soon as I got a bank card. They only thing they ever ask is if I want to upgrade to a more expensive credit card - never mind checking to see if I was still a student/shouldn't be charged these fees wrongfully. I've banked with TD for over 15 years (since I was 6 yrs old) and I'm through.
