Helpful staff. They have very nice teas but can get pricey.

I ordered a cup of raspberry lemon mate which I had more than 10 times in Nashville. They didn't use enough tea to make it and the color looks light red instead of red. It doesn't taste well, almost like drinking a cup of lightly sweetened water. Will not go to this place anymore. In Nashville the staff make tea in front of you. But here they did it at the back.

I'm really torn about what to say about this store. I love their product. Teavana sells an impressive assortment high quality loose leaf teas, as well as tea accessories. The store itself is attractively laid out and they always have delicious samples available. The sales staff, however, trend heavily towards the obnoxious. It's a very high pressure store. I usually come in knowing what I want. I like to browse a little and I appreciate someone answering my questions or helping me to make a decision if I'm torn. I intensely dislike getting stalked around the store, having the sales staff try to pressure me into buying accessories I don't want, having them try and bully me into buying more expensive teas, having them try to convince me I need twice or three times as much of each variety as I intended to buy. It's exceptionally unpleasant. I have on more than one occasion told a sales person I will ask if I have questions but I prefer to browse alone, and STILL had them stalk me around interjecting into my conversations with my shopping companions and try convince me I can't live without things I don't need and things I already own. I'm seriously considering eating the shipping costs and just buying online from now on. Product gets a five. Staff gets a one.
