Occasionally you can find something here you might be willing to buy. They used to have actual books. The staff are as helpful as their pitiful store allows. But still far better than Volume II!

I have been a customer or tech bookstore for many years.  On October 1,  I placed an order for 3 pairs of shorts for my son that were on clearance.  On October 9, I received an email that showed my order and next to status said cancelled.  I called the store to figure out what was going on and I was told they were out of the shorts.  I asked why it took over a week to figure this out and all they could say was "I don't know."  There was no attempt to make this right on the part of the store and my impression was that the person I was speaking with could care less if I was a customer.  This experience was so bad that I will no longer shop at Tech Bookstore.

Just got back from this location in search of a gift for my husband. Manager was super rude/paranoid around me like I was going to take something... watched him (not at all inconspicuously) speak to the clerk behind the counter about it before going up to spend $65. Will trash this place in reviews (or people looking for a recommendation) every chance I get.

So I rented a textbook for one of my classes my first semester of college for $41.  I dropped the course, as I wasn't doing well, and forgot about the book.  It has been sitting under my textbooks and notebooks from last semester.  2 months after the second semester started, I was charge a wopping $102.  I understand that I should have been more responsible in keeping track of the book, but here's what made me mad.

The only email they ever sent me was my order confirmation email.  I never got a tracking number for shipping, although it did get to me fast.  But what's worse is they never sent me a reminder that my rental was coming to a close.  With how busy college students are and how important money is, that is the least they could do.  Don't see myself ordering from them anytime soon.
