What a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. The Temescal Canyon Park is well-worth the $10 parking fee to enjoy such a pristine, well-managed series of trails. It is perfect for a beginner to intermediate hiker, but I highly recommend packing water for the trek. 

If you're looking for a place to picnic, there are petite, grassy areas near the parking lot with trash cans. 

For just $10, you won't find more majestic views stretching from the South Bay to Malibu. Definitely recommend a visit to Temescal Canyon Park!

Went on the hottest day of the summer. Not an easy hike! Parking was plentiful on the street (and free). Trail is in good shape, lots of hikers saying hi. Dissapointed that waterfall was dry.

Great scenic park with variety of trails that are well kept and easily tracked. Good variety of difficulty too.

Great hike. Took the trail to Will Rogers state park. 
Parking is a bit steep at $10.

Moderate hike. Trail head-Skull rock- waterfall- trail head loop is 5 miles. We went on a Saturday morning hike and was worth it. The free parking lot mentioned in Google maps is actually not free. The fee is 10 USD for whole day. If you arrive early street parking can save you that money. There are restrooms at the office.
