Beautiful wide beach with volley ball nets, public restrooms and parking.  Have been here twice in the last month.  The beach is very clean with lots of space in the sand.  The restrooms have running water, etc., but could be cleaned a bit more often.  Parking is plentiful and convenient, but expensive at $9 per car.

Favorite beach in the Santa Monica area. Usually has no crowds, waves and water are great, rarely see any trash or litter, and away from all the crowds that you typically see around the Santa Monica Pier. Only cons are the slightly limited food options and the parking. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, or outrageously expensive, or both. I typically ride my bike here, so if you have that option it is probably your best shot. Otherwise I'd try street parking on Temescal Canyon Road (the earlier in the AM the better). There are some food options here and there, I usually just pack a meal and go picnic style. Definitely worth a trip if you are looking for a nice quiet / relaxing beach day.

$9 parking (parking spaces were quite plentiful) at a suuuuper rocky beach! Make sure to either have water shoes or rough feet that can handle stepping all over rocks whenever you try to play in the water!

Love going to this beach! So clean and not so crowded. Really recommend visiting.
