Story

TBA is a vibrant spiritual center for Conservative Judaism and a dynamic environment where the spiritual, cultural and educational needs of our members can be met. Serving NW Broward County, FL, we strive to be a Kehillah Kedosha, a sacred and caring community, offering activities for all ages. We welcome members of all backgrounds including interfaith and same-sex marriages.

As a full service Conservative congregation, we offer many services to our members including:
• Daily morning and afternoon/evening minyans, Shabbat services, holiday services, and services for all life-cycle events
• Babysitting services for Friday evening and Shabbat morning services
• Kids Shabbat services
• Schooling including Sunday classes that emphasize holiday experiences and Hebrew reading readiness as well as Religious School twice weekly teaching Hebrew reading, participation in services, Jewish history and values
• Adult Education programs, including weekly classes and Adult Bar and Bat Mitzvah lessons
• Sisterhood and Men's Club events
• Family programming
• Youth programs including Chalutzim, Kadima, and USY
• Annual film festivals
• Holiday events

Mission

Temple Beth Am is an egalitarian conservative synagogue. We strive to be a spiritual home wherein a Jewish path can begin or continue in the company of a caring and loving community. The atmosphere is open, the journey engaging, the community supportive.

We celebrate Torah and the traditions of Jewish living by providing a spiritual and religious experience, engaging our members in lifelong education, and taking an active role in community activities.
