Shalom Everyone!

I recently moved to Bend from Birmingham, Michigan. I enjoyed my religous studies, observation of Shabbos and Jewish Holidays with Rabbi Cohen and his wife, the lovely Rebbetzin, Ita Leah Cohen,
from the Birmingham-Bloomfield Chai Center.

For the first six weeks of my residence in Bend, I felt maybe I had made a mistake in moving herre.
Lucky for me my sister Linda Brant and brother-in-law George Brant were original founders of Temple
Beth Tikvah. Linda said" wait till July-we have a new Rabbi Starting, Rabbi Johanna Hershenson.
 I am so glad I did-I joined Temple Beth Tikvah and love it.

The members were warm and welcoming. The services and exceptional-I enjoyed all of the events,
and have joined the Women's spiritual Hiking Group on Fridays to kick off the Sabbath.
