Our philosophy is strongly influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach. We offer classes for ages 2 to 5, as well as an extended day program 3 days a week.
The Center for Early Learning is not just for members, or even for Jewish families. At the Center for Early Learning, your child will find a warm, nurturing environment where a love for learning is established. Age-appropriate programs, a creative and loving staff, ideal teacher-to-child ratios and a modern facility ensure a positive, first formal educational experience.
Children learn and grow through play. With this belief to guide us, we fill each day with activities that foster cognitive, emotional, social and physical growth. The beauty and teachings of our Jewish heritage are woven into each day’s activities. Although the curriculum focuses on Jewish traditions, children from all religious and cultural backgrounds are welcome.
Our programs build upon one another through a developmental approach that focuses on the whole child. Beginning with the Tiny Tots program and continuing through the Extended Day program, each day includes creative play, small and large groups, art experience and literature time.
The Center for Early Learning offers a developmental approach to early childhood learning. Our staff plans carefully to provide classroom experiences that support the following goals for every child:
Increased Attention Span
Socialization Skills
Physical Development
Independent & Creative Thinking
Positive self-confidence and high self-esteem
Verbal and reasoning skills
A love for learning
A celebration of the unique contributions of each child and family
