Tera is amazing! The best waxing and beauty treatments. Relaxed, clean, efficient, painless, quality products and great results. Best of all Tera is a lovely person who makes you feel at home. I am a pretty fussy client, but nothing is too much for Tera to accommodate. I highly recommend.

Tera is the bomb. She has a great little studio that's conveniently located in MDR/ Venice- super clean and modern. Most importantly, she is a pro at what she does and has great bedside manner. I'm pregnant and a real wuss when it comes to waxing pain (no Ibuprofen = nightmare) and she does a beautiful job quickly and with minimal pain. Her prices are very competitive compared to other salon quality esthetic services. I've never had a scheduling issue, or any issues redeeming my Groupon (which is how I purchased my initial waxes)...exceptional experience with every encounter here. 

Highly recommend!

When I arrived at Teramai Waxing studio for my 2:00 appointment, I was 5 minutes late. After repeatedly apologizing and explaining that I had tried to call to inform them I was running late, the woman I spoke with insisted that I reschedule since her next appointment was coming in at 2:15, and servicing me would mean the rest of the day would be late.I again apologized and offered to wait against her advising me otherwise and pushing me to reschedule. She stressed that they had a zero tolerance policy for taking late appointments. 

At this point it was nearly 2:10 so I chose to wait. At 2:20, the 2:15 appointment had not arrived, so I again asked if I could be seen. The woman told me that she knew the 2:15 appointment was coming because the person had just stopped in prior to me arriving. I pointed out that she too was late for her appointment, and that since I was present, could be seen immediately. She still refused to book my appointment. 

At 2:25 the 2:15 appointment had still not shown and the woman still refused to take me. After being treated with such disrespect and disregard, I felt I had no option but to leave without rescheduling. Later that day I got an email from Teramai informing me I had been charged $50 for missing my appointment.

No Parking. Complicated Appointment System. Not worth the hassle...can find just as good waxing in LA for less price and without the unending list of dos and don'ts!
