Based upon the food and service we received on our way there earlier this week, I would have to give this restaurant the four star review. I had their taco salad, which was very appealing to look at as well as having excellent contents and taste qualities. Sometimes taco salad is watery because the lettuce isn't dry enough. The taco salad I had was tasty with fresh vegetable ingredients. I like the pomegranate seeds. I think they do their best to produce quality products for their customers. They were very polite and seated Us near a window when we asked so we could keep our eye on our car. I know they can't do that for everybody when the restaurant is crowded, but they treated us very well.

This is the place where we have received the best service. The waiters check on us constantly. The food and atmosphere are great!  Love this place.

I gave this restaurant three opportunities over a couple years to simply make par, but it failed. The food itself is decent, no real complaints there, but the service falls flat, consistently. I've been there on a busy Saturday night and a dead Tuesday evening and the result is the same: poor, inconsistent, slow, sometimes incompetent service. This isn't to say the employees are not pleasant, they are, but being nice doesn't make up for needing to ask the server several times for the same drink or appetizer that never makes it to the table or having the wrong dish brought out after the correct one was given to another table. Once, an (expensive) drink we did not order arrived at our table delivered by another server but after declining the drink (explaining it was not ordered, plus we were actually finishing up and waiting for our tab), it still made it's way onto our final bill. After the server promised a drink would be brought to our table several times the server finally brought it about the time the food arrived and graciously added that the drink would be "on her". It still showed on our bill along with the other drink we didn't order. 

Sorry, Tesoro, the food's okay, but it shouldn't be this hard to get it to the table (correctly).
