Cindy (DPS Clerk) did an excellent job in helping my 18 year old son get his driving test scheduled and learner's permit issued.  It was after 5PM and she did not rush us or talk down to us.  Her customer service skills were excellent and she was very professional. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs that extra help in filling out their paper work or being instructed on how to do so.

This is the by far the best center I have visited... and believe me I have visited a few since I moved to TX. Very spacious (no lines outside the building) , 47 counters ( quick service) and very clean and bright interior ( make waiting inside less stressful). A special thanks to Charles Perez who displayed great customer service while performing official business. This location should be the first preference for all in and around the area !

It was told that DPS efficiency is low and you expect to take whole day there. So today i arrived there at around 9am. 10 people ahead of me in the queue, but it's processing quickly. i took around 20-25 minutes to be called. The lady was nice. Took another 15mins to finish the procedure. I am very satisfied for their efficiency and i don't need to spend whole day there.

Huge waiting area, better atmosphere than other locations in the area. Staff are kind and helpful. Arrived at noon and there were about 400 people in waiting and 100 for renewal. There is a chance the parking lot gets full. Expect 2 hours wait at a minimum, roughly 2 minute per number called, occasionally the numbers stop incrementing.

Don't forget to bring your personal entertainment

New, clean, huge building. Sign in process is stream lined for ease however like the bus route, I still was confused. My brain just doesn't work like government systems I guess. 

Nice waiting area for usual amount of time. Comments set expectation for nicer than usual staff however my gal hated her life like many government employees seem to. 

Def better experience than McKinney location.
