To deal with these people over the phone is near impossible. They have an attitude like they have a stick up their ass and are better then the people needing help. I missed my phone interview today because I wasn't told I was going to have one and the person that called me gave me a bad call back number. I called the office to get the correct number and was told they would call me back in a couple of hours. I requested that I be given the correct number to conduct my interview only to be told she didn't know and to not call again. These people are not here to help you! I'm a high risk pregnant epileptic with a 1.5 year old son and have been refused services repeatedly without them doing their job.

Can you say EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS? They were killin it this morning! I had not received my ebt card in the mail and was dreading having to go in person. I was literally in and out in 3 minutes with a card in hand. Everyone was courteous and efficient. I know! It's crazy but true. It was magical and I thank you ladies so much!

I am at a loss for words here....I finally reached a human being and she was as dumb as a box of rocks. I just needed a question answered. Her reply was " o sure, that should be fine, I mean why not" .....really?? How about you ask someone who actually knows? Very sad that this is the person in charge of answering the phone.

Having to visit here means things aren't going well. But the staff at this location is friendly and helpful, and I'm thrilled that there's an HHS office just the street from my house! So much is submitted and taken care of over the computer now, and when our laptop went out, I was worried about getting everything filed correctly and on-time. LUCKILY, there's a bank of computers there in the lobby! So, you can get started RIGHT THERE, right away - even if you don't have a working computer! Receptionists were wonderful, though the agents were a little cold. She acted like I was the FIRST person to cry in a Food Stamp office. That's impossible... I'd give HER 1.5 stars. But, because everyone else was so helpful, I'm going with 4 stars. 😉
