I came in without an appointment last Friday to get my SS benefits started. I was expecting a long, unpleasant day. I was greeted at the door by a smiling person asking my purpose at the SS office. I told him and also stated that I had not made an appointment. He smiled and said "Don't worry about that. We will get you taken care of!" And that is the way it went during my visit. I was treated with the utmost respect and all the folks working there seemed to be glad to see me. It also seemed that they respected one another and enjoyed working in the office. I was interviewed and out of the office with a full explanation of my benefits in less than an hour. And to top it all off, the back benefits that I was due were deposited in my account 2 days later on Tuesday. I could not have had a better experience!!!

Wonderful office! Changed my name today since I just got married and I was in and out in 20 minutes! Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

I called, had to wait 15 minutes but the computer showed they were busy at the time. Lady came on and listened while I explained my situation. It turned out to be a mistake due to other misinformation. She was patient and explained what was needed, and options. Never rushed me but also was good at deciding what was important and got right to the point of what was needed. Great.... I get that they have guidelines they have to use. So it becomes what is needed for each situation. Hopefully we can now get the documentation needed to get his card back.

I arrive a few minutes after 9 and waited only about 30 minutes to see an employee. He was very efficient and professional. He answered all my questions about Medicare and my retirement benefits.

Too many incompetent people working at this location. most won't look at you and hide behind computer screens. After waiting approximately an hour each visit, workers won't take the time with me to solve my problem. I was told to fax information and the fax number has been unanswered all day. I tried ten times already, starting at 9 .
