If only i could leave 0 star on this i would. First of all, i don't know how this nail salon managed to get a 4.4 star, which is what led me to go there to do my nails. I went to get a shellac manicure and deluxe pedicure. The old lady who did the pedicure did a good job. The only problem i had with her work was that she kept digging into my toe nail trying to get rid of "only God knows what", to the point where my two big two nails hurt really bad, and she seemed to rush through the whole process. It didn't feel like i was getting a deluxe pedicure. Other than that, she did a good job applying nail polish to my toenails.

Now, this is why i'm really upset. The big Asian guy who did my fingernails, i believe his name is Keith, did an awful job. First of all, he charged me $25 for "shellac manicure" and ended up only cleaning off my previous gel nail polish with E-file and applying new ones. To make things worse, he rough handled my fingers. I'm not sure if he was trying to break my fingers or apply nail polish on my fingernails. He kept applying gel nail polish only in the middle of my fingers and left the sides unpolished. When i asked him to fix this, he just ignored me, then few seconds later he said "I'll take a look at it later". After applying the gel nail polish, he didn't clean the polish patches around my fingernails, he asked me to leave my nails under the UV gel lamp, and after 60 seconds he just told me "you're done, you can go". What happened to "I'll take a look at it later", polishing my whole fingernails? At this point i was just irritated, so i paid and left peacefully. Tell me why few minutes after i got home the gel nail polish started chipping off. In my whole 3 years of doing shellac nails, i have never seen this happen. It was quite obvious to me that this nail salon uses cheap gel nail polish. So i literally just paid this man $25 for nothing. He didn't do the manicure, and the gel nail polish couldn't even last for an hour. 

Please, this is my candid advice to anyone who is looking for a place to get a manicure and pedicure, run far away from Texas Nails & Spa (15150 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77083). These people are fraudsters. They use cheap nail polish products, and are rude and impatient as heck. I am never going there again!

Keith worked on my nails and he does a great job, but I developed a nail infection and had to go to the emergency room and the old man that own the shop refuse to give me the insurance information to pay for my medical bills.  Make sure they are using clean tools.

This place is clean and friendly. There is a really fine asian there and he's not gay whos A1 on the 💅🏾

Great nails, great service. 
Costs maybe $5 more than other places close by, but his work is so much better.
