The Texas Roadhouse being a franchise restaurant is surprisingly consistent. Everyone I have been to has been good, Some have been great. The one I Lawton is good. My waiter was "Jose" ***** 5 star service from this guy. Not because he was bucking for a tip but because he was a great waiter. The steak was good, i always get rib eye, there is fast in it, as it should be. Very flavorful, large enough too call it 16oz, and cook right. It gets very loud in there and i have trouble with background noise. If not for the noise, all the better for me. But that is the style of restaurant it is so no complaints.

Quick seating and service. We had a party of two, arrived at the start of peak hours and waited for 10 minutes without call ahead. Lorena provided excellent service. The food was delicious with steak cooked as described on the menu (medium, which I ordered, is described as hot pink center). Even the peanuts were good!

We did the call ahead seating, because we had a pretty large party (4 adults, 4 kids). They told us there would be no wait and when we got there to check in, they said it would only be a short wait. So we sat down and waiter. 25 minutes later (still waiting patiently), they seated another party of 8, we counted. I asked what the issue was and why they were seated before us...they said they had been waiting longer, which is interesting because when we called, they said there was no wait. So we decided to leave, as we left the wait pager/buzzer went off and when I took it back into the hostess and she snatched it out of my hand and rolled her eyes. I'm not sure what the deal was, but that was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant, ever.

Great food. Great service. Thank you Michael, you rocked it. Everything on our order was perfect, steaks cooked to perfection. We ate like little piggies and walked out stuffed!

The service was great, and the steak kabob with sweet potatoes was fantastic! Great for a business trip dinner! I also had the peach fuzz drive k, which was delicious.
