Tonight I ordered the medium ribeye with shrimp, cooked medium rare. The order showed up roughly 45 minutes later, nice and hot. I pre-tipped the driver 20%. My steak was incredibly over-cooked,  and there was no shrimp. I called and asked to speak with a Manager. April came on the line and asked me if I wanted them to re-do it. Uh, yes. Please. She put me on hold, supposedly to speak to the manager, Nicole. April said that since the order taker didn't charge me for the shrimp, I would have to pay for it. No problem since I ordered it. Add another $5.95 to my $24. I mentioned that I thought it was very telling that after I've waited an hour, and my order was wrong that they were going to charge me for the shrimp. April became rude and said "I'm sorry you feel that way" and hung up on me. I'm done. I've ordered from Steak Express numerous times and only one other wrong order that I didn't even bother to call about but the lack of customer service on just this one experience, is enough for me to call it quits. Good service is everything. IF they had redone the steak and thrown in the shrimp for inconvenience, it would have been fine. Mistakes happen, bad customer service is a choice.

Haven't ordered in awhile from this place cause they were either messing up my order or forgetting a lot of stuff or just taking way too long to deliver my food and when i would get it the food was cold. Today tried it again and actually very happy with service and food. Thanks guys everything was great.

I get the lunch cheeseburger. It's so good! I'm hooked. I've had steak tips and baked potatoes too. Delicious! I've only done pickup, but the service is usually good. Great iced tea! Nothing fried on the menu btw.

We ordered through the phone for pick up; steak and shrimp for 2. We paid $30 for this! Steaks were suppose to be well but this one looks rare, like it just came up off the cow and it was ice cold. They didn't even get the dressing right for our salads. For $30 I want a little bit more for my meal. Is it too much to ask since it is $30 to get cold, red steak? When we called the best they could do is a discount. A discount?? Come on, I will be spending my money anywhere else but here.

I tried the "chicken spicy strips" that description is inaccurate.  They looked like fish sticks and tasted worse.  They did finally get my wife's steak tips cooked right after the third time we have ordered from there.  Asked for extra butter, that didn't happen.  For as much as the meal cost, an extra butter isn't too much to ask.
