The only way I could say how horrible these people are was to give them one star which they do not deserve.  It took forever before they paid my claim when my home was destroyed by Harvey.  During the time I was fighting for them to pay,  my  insurance agent said I better go ahead and renew my windstorm to make sure I did not lose coverage. I cancelled the insurance and they will not give me my balance they are stating a $940.00 non refundable surcharge. They are blood suckers. Use any one other than them.

They have screwed up my billing every year, and every year I have gone at least 2 weeks without coverage because they do not send the correct information to my mortgage lender. Their customer service is A JOKE! They really have no people skills and clearly their calls are recorded so their supervisors obviously don't care either that their staff is rude to customers. If you have am option steer clear of TWIA.

This is the most poorly managed entity that I have come across in a long time.  Unresponsive, unethical and no one takes any responsibility.

They were more than fair with the settlement on my hail damaged roof in Galveston.
Service was quick-adjuster was there on-time and was very knowledgeable; paperwork was straightforward. Check was delivered on time.

These people are horrible. They won't return calls. I am without running water and electric after hurricane Harvey devastation.
