I've been with Michelle at Texturz since 2006, when I first moved here from the DC Metro Area. From day one, she and I hit it off and I knew right away she would be my stylist for life! She's passionate about what she does and she cares deeply for her clients. On top of that, she's an amazing stylist who cares for hair in such a progressive way. She stands behind her work and makes sure the other stylists in the salon are top notch. I also love Sonia who's helping me navigate my way through grad school right now with crochet braids. I highly recommend Texturz! I love the vibe and I love the people!

I was very pleased with my first visit 5 weeks ago. I waited to leave a review to see if Michelle was consistent. She surely as been great for me. My first visit she gave me a pixie cut,which I've never had hair that short. She made a professional decision that my hair was thin and had damage from braids. As I read the negative reviews about her chopping hair off. I have to wonder if some women just really don't like their hair period and are only happy with weaves. Also as far a pricing goes ASK before. I will finish with this my hair is healthier and styles last longer since going to her. I always leave happy!

Great environment with classy educated stylists that I've been going to for years. As I continue to scroll down and read some of the other various reviews, they just doesn't seem to match my experiences that I've seen or had at Texturz. I know everyone will have different experiences. However, to type a review you really should have truly rendered services at the salon. Meaning, actually sat in a chair not just read some one else experience and then post on an experience or service never rendered. What is that ? If you've ever had an issue with your services the correct thing to do is inform the stylist. Regardless of what the issue is concerning any services with a style, cut, color or price. I know she would always make an attempt to work with a client to rectify the situation. That's what you would want any professional and business owner to do but it can't be resolved if it wasn't made aware to the business owner. They are stylist not mind readers. Posting reviews can be a very passive aggressive way to inform a business of your dissatisfaction of services rendered. Remember that there are two sides to a story his side, her side and the truth. Michelle and her staff of stylists are healthy hair care professionals. Thank you ladies for continuing to take care of my hair every time all the time.

Jonaya is awesome!!! She is very kind and does such a great job on my hair. When she does my hair , I know I will be walking out with a smile on my face and super silky hair. If Jonaya is doing your hair you are in great hands :)

I absolutely love my color! Michelle, the owner, has been my hairdresser for over 20 years. Both of my daughters get their hair done at Texturz also, and we are always very pleased with our hair. We can always count on great service at Texturz, and Michelle really knows how to keep our hair healthy. She is an expert on hair care and how to keep your hair healthy. The staff at Texturz is courteous, and they try their best to fit us in when we need an appointment on short notice due to a special event. We really don't trust anyone else with taking care of our hair. I would definitely recommend Michelle and Texturz if you are looking for a salon with great service.
