Story

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Piscataway, NJ is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

If you go here ask for Arturo! He is an amazing waiter and very attentive. He really took the time to make the experience great- and was more personable than any waiter I've ever had. He genuinely cared about the service he provided which is hard to find in today's world. 10/10 experience thanks to him.

Tried calling over and over and the phone was busy the entire time so I had to drive there to order. I ordered my food and got a drink while I was waiting. I looked at the check and noticed they forgot to put in wings so I ordered them and they were brought out on a plate. I told them everything I ordered was to go. All in all it took 45 minutes from when I sat down to get all my food. In my opinion this is way too long and some of the food was cold. Food would have been good if it was warm.

Food is great....just not enough.portion for the money. They give larger portions in the past. What happened ???????

Last night had a very bad experience at TGI Friday. Very bad service. Aurtor our waiter gave us pathetic service. Asked for Jameson and Ginger Ale, he brought it in a tall glass fully filled with Ginger Ale. Whisky in tall glass, bad. We kept on pressing the call waiter on their desk gadget, but no one turned up.

This is by far the worst place in the world. We sat down as party of 5. They didn’t have four of the first things we ordered because it’s Sunday. (Delivery comes on Monday) As the evening went on as we entered the second hour, we ordered 9 watered down Captain and Coke, 2 beers and 4 shots. Also we ordered two appetizers and three entrees. When we wanted to order 4 shots cause the Giants finally won a game and guess what we got cut off. Johanna and Danielle (bartenders), maybe not bartenders but they were behind the bar. They did a better job cleaning and talking under their breathe about their guests. They said we had to wait 15 minutes to order more drinks meanwhile we wanted to order more food and they didn’t come back until it was last call and that was 40 minutes later. Jeff Rainforth was the “service manager” and he couldn’t explain why this had to happen to us. After a escalated conversation, we refused to continue and suggested that we shouldn’t pay for the food and Jeff was more than willing to accommodate us. Jack Wright, “district manager” you sir are losing money here. You had a near empty restaurant at 20% seats filled. And you got Jeff, Johanna and Danielle giving the house away due to bad service. There also was a girl by herself clearly drunk but wasn't cut off, she worked there. They seemed to look out for their own. I would never spend a dime at a Friday's ever again. The manager was trying to justify we ordered too many drinks too fast. Once the bartender told us to wait she never came back. The bill got adjustmented $100 and when Jeff game the bill he gave me a smart departing comment. They sure enough got the exact change, not even my two cents. The bartender even asked me I wanted change, I told her to keep it. They got nothing!
