Story

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Union City, CA is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

It's really good food, and if you go at the right times really good prices. I ordered 9 sliders, a basket of fries, and two drinks for $24 during Friday night happy hour. I went alone and got all you can eat wings for $10. It's just awesome. They have great deals, great food, and I really enjoy the environment too. I haven't come close to trying everything they have to offer yet, and I'm not really interested in it all either, so I only know about the deals. Also I've never been to another one of these, so I have nothing to compare. It is pretty awesome though.

Food is good and comes out fast in my experiences there. The staff all seems well connected. My server was always extremely friendly and worked hard to satisfy even my picky requests. Thank you to the staff at the first TGI I've ever gone to. I will definitely return.

This place WAS the best. Now it's a shell of what it used to be. Only things good on the menu must say Jack Daniels otherwise forget about it. The drinks are still good but food and service need a serious adjustment. We waited 25 mins for a table just to be forgot about for 20 mins once we sat down. Then after waiting another 20 mins or more for the food, it was cold. Worst part is that this is the 2nd time in a row this has happened to me. I tried to give it another chance and got the same service and experience. All on my finances birthday. Go to Chillies or one of the many restaurants near by.

Food good. But found hair in food!! Manager Debbie fixed it!! She said any problems address it immediately!! Word to the wise: any cold food delivered deal with it right then and there.

Great Food and great service from Staff Management is also awesome and very nice. My go to place during the weekends or after work. Plus get rewards when you sign up for their TGIF stripes reward program
