Story

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Valley Stream, NY is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

This place needs to be checked out by the heath department, the booth walls and menu had sauces like a week old, menu was falling apart. Really slow service. TGIF is a good restaurant but try another location.

Consistently poor service and food here. They need an overhaul... training, customer service, the kitchen staff -- everything. There are a few really strong performers... but they can not individually run a one-person show. It takes teamwork and that is lacking.

Service was slow... food was plain... never got a refill or asked for one... clearly you see my cup is empty... waiter told my wife we ain't got no more avocado but clearly told the table behind us that he was gonna give them avocado and he did... and I'm pretty sure the waiter stole my debit card number... there's no wayt that my bill was $51 dollars and I check my bank app and it says I'm payed $51 and another $95 in the same location on the same night... gonna speak to management tomorrow and call my bank... do not come here... this place was good a few years back now it run by HS kids and probably ex convicts working for the hourly.

I ordered take out around 4pm with a togo employee. I gave specific instructions for two chicken & shrimp pasta. One with chicken and the second without chicken with extra shrimp. I get no extra shrimp, only 5 pieces. The gentlemen was SO sure he checked my food and made sure "everything was right". He also pointed out that I shouldn't open the container because it would be too hard to close It back. It bothers me that he lied & I had to pay extra for it & didn't receive it!

Very overprice for the food and drinks bad svrice had to wait a long time for someone to talk our order. Would not be going there ever again.
