Story

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Rosemont, IL is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

Went for the ribs special. The ribs used to be good at Fridays but not anymore. I've tried the ribs at 2 different locations and had the same issue. The were dry and cooked without char, the sauce was just poured over the top. They used to have a nice char on them but no more. Disappointed

Bartender is completely dismissive and rude moved to sit in the dining area because he was busy flirting with a customer. First visit could barely bring himself to the table would holler from the bar if we wanted anything else food was good, but bartender needs to be fired. For management this occurred on September 23rd during the daytime shift. That bartender is literally the worst and we have been loyal Fridays customers for years if he doesn’t want to take care of customers or at the very least pretend to care about his job he shouldn’t be there.

The food was very good service excellent the only thing is we passed it by and had to go back because the sign was not lite up and it was pitch black

On Sunday, Oct 29 2017 I called the TGI Fridays in Rosemont IL. We decided to call in for "takeout" being my wife didn't feel well. We decided to have the ribs that we saw a a tv ad. The tv ad stated "dine in or takeout". I looked at the online takeout menu and it stated the same. I called the restaurant to place the order because we wanted extra BBQ sauce and there was no place online to state that. I called to place the order and was told that the manager of the restaurant won't allow the rib deal to go out as takeout. I stated that the tv ad and online menu both said the special rib dinner could be a takeout. I was mad. My wife then said let's go to the restaurant. We did and both ordered the rib dinner which was good and our server (Nick) was great. We asked to speak to the manager (Amy) She informed us that corporate informed them it was for dine in only. We asked why was it on TV and online that it could be on take out. She said she understood that , but corporate said different. She said now she was going to change that back to takeout. It was all double talk. I don't like to complain, but this was such BS and it came at a time when my wife wasn't feeling well.

One of my favorite places to eat. First time at this one. Our waiter was super nice but he was by himself so didnt get the best service.
