I've been going here a few years off and on. It's the only place I eat Thai food at, and I'd recommend the Pineapple Fried Rice with Tofu or Chicken. You get a LOT of food for your money, so I'd also recommend sharing a meal with someone unless you're capable of eating colossal portion sizes. The restaurant doesn't look like much, but it tastes awesome.

The reason why I'm leaving 3 stars you'd because even though the food is really good, what sucks is the time you have to wait for every! There's only 1 waiter. She has no idea if what time management is. Gets and order from one table and goes into the kitchen. Comes our 10 min later and gets the order from another table....im waiting for 45mjn and I still didn't get my food. Probably they have 1 person in the kitchen.

Tasty Thai food and very friendly attentive service. Always a great experience. I'd say Thai Lotus is a hidden gem in High Desert!
