My experience of Thai restaurants is always particular because I used to live in Thailand and know the cuisine quite well. Here I spoke to the waitress in detail to find out where the cook was from so I could order something from that region and I ordered the dish from the Northeast which is ground chicken with ground roasted rice served with fresh vegetables and lots of spicing hot Thai chili. In English it's called Lop. The dish was served with sticky rice and is just as good as anything I got 30 years ago in that region of Thailand. So in short for The Expatriate from Thailand to this is extremely authentic food if you know what to order. That's the only dish I tried and can speak on, but the overall experience is absolutely wonderful and you can hear people speaking Thai even though the owner is not Thai. Just a fantastic place with authentic fresh and delicious Thai food. That's something that's very difficult to find in Southern California even though there are many presumably Thai restaurants.

Absolutely fabulous! And it has been every time we have had lunch or dinner here. The pictures posted are the lovely real Rose on the table and the lunch portion of Pad Thai. I had already consumed the nice bowl of soup.

I like the soup here. :) Good food, relaxed. Get a window table and people watch over lunch. Nice spot just a block off the beach in Seal Beach.

We came in for dinner on a pretty busy week night and received excellent service. Our server and her staff were attentive, our appetizers were delivered in a timely manner and our entrees were delicious. Highly recommended for small and larger parties for authentic Thai food!

SHADY. For 2 reasons. I'm sick so I decide some soup is best. I order a cup to go which is listed as $6 on the menu. I arrive and the bill is a flat $7 with no indication of tax or anything. I'm sick so I dont think much of it until I can't help but contemplate that its not possible to be $7 with any sort of tax rate. Shady instance #1 Thereafter, I order lunch to-go. I arrive and the bill is over $11 even though the posted price is $8.95. I say something and she says the prices changed. I pulled the to-go menu off the shelf where the regular menus are (of which I relied upon to take my to go order) and show her the price stated. She says the prices are subject to change (interesting, what is the point of a menu if you can indiscriminately change prices?!). I ask her where that's stated and she hands me off to another woman who promptly returns with a receipt with the correct price. So, lesson here is they will charge you incorrectly unless you catch them. Super shady and will not return. I also did try to pay with a valid American Express gift card which I was told was rejected by their system even though there was money enough on there. Additionally, no management or owner around to discuss this with. Bonus was no one discarded the so-called incorrect menus.
