The Hangout Restaurant and Beach Bar in beautiful Seal Beach Ca opened May 21, 2012 and is family owned and operated. We feature New American cuisine with a little Southern Flair. Although we are a Beach Bar Restaurant we take our food very seriously and therefore only use very high quality meats, seafood and produce. Our food is made fresh and to order everyday.
The Hangout Restaurant is a place where our customers should feel comfortable whether on date night, "Hanging Out" with some friends, or relaxing with family after a day at the beach. Attentive and friendly service is what we strive for.
Our wine program offers many fantastic wine selections. We feel it is important to support California and therefore showcase California wines. We are also proud to feature ONEHOPE Wine as our house wine selection. ONEHOPE Wine donates an astounding 50% of its profits to various charities
During our remodel of this wonderful landmark location, we used reclaimed lumber in the fabrication of our table tops, bar top and wall material throughout.
We purchase only seafood not on the seafood "Watch List". We will only use products that will satisfy our customers now and in the future.
All of our paper products and takeout supplies are recycled and compostable.
