I really like this book store!  It's cozy and wonderfully staffed.

This is a great little spot tucked away on 31st street. Its wide selection of books was surprising for the size, but they have a bit of everything. The ambiance is quiet and music is great!

Sometimes you're in the mood to step away from all the digital devices in your life.  The Astoria Bookshop is the best local cure for that feeling. 

Small but well-curated, it has major authors and signed books by local ones. Divided mostly by fiction, non, kids and science, you do have to rely on the suggestion tags in the store and judging books by their covers, but at least it's in real life and not online. 

Definitely a great addition to the neighborhood and glad to have discovered it.

Friends don't let friends buy books on amazon! Support this incredible local business. I walked in asking for a recommendation and now I'm reading "Let the Great World Spin" - a book that just stopped me in my tracks!
