You will not find a better place for your pet. The staff are fantastic and show interest and care for your pets. They even have an indoor pool which our dog really enjoys. This is the first place where I've never felt guilty for leaving my dog behind for a weekend as he is always sooo excited to come here. Do your pet a favor and let them take their own vacation by staying at the Barkley the next time you leave town.

I could not be more upset about my experience at the Barkley Hotel in Cleveland, Miles road. 
I have never used this facility for boarding my dogs and never will again. I gave one star because both my dogs are still alive so for that I am thankful. When I picked them up I knew immediately something wasn't right only to come home and immediately have them coughing and trying to catch their breath. One of them puking/with diarrhea for two days so far. I called them immediately and they report no problems written in their report. Please! I don't believe this for a second! They were both up to date on all vaccinations but both have Bordetella now.  
I also find it ridiculous that they only take your dog out to the bathroom 6am, 3pm and 11pm UNLESS you pay extra for each potty break! With two dogs it adds up! That is not a normal, healthy bathroom schedule for any dog or living being ! What if one could not afford the extra potty time? That is not properly taking care of any animal! Not even acceptable! When asked what if they need to go out and I was assured, "it's okay, all dogs have accidents, we just clean it up!" But I feel it is not okay for a dog that is house trained to just go.. because you didn't pay for enough potty breaks or it doesn't fit into their schedule when they are being paid to care for your pet! They claim to go above and beyond an average standard of care for the animals in their care which is why I booked my dogs to be in their care- but that is simply not true. My gut said not to leave them and I should have listened to my gut but thought I was being over protective. 
The report I received about their stay was Not even personal just a standard "it was a pleasure meeting your dogs and look forward to their next stay" 
They couldn't even return the nice bags I used to bring their food/treats.. I supplied! 
They nickel and dime you to just provide your dog basic, very basic care. 
I am shocked and feel it is vital people know they are not getting anything more then you dog placed in a cage and given minimal care.

I recently took an unscheduled tour of The Barkley. I was extremely impressed with the staff, availability of options and the attention to detail in the facility. From kennel style stays to pool side suites or daycare each room has individual fresh air supply. Each pet has detailed notes on likes, dislikes, medical and activities during their stay. Best of all The Barkley is transitioning to chemical free sanitation. Other pet parents dropping off and picking up only had fantastic things to say.

I recently took my cats to the barkley for dematting and an overnight stay. They did a great job. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean and very nice. They also have camera's that I could check on my kitty's anytime I wanted. Overall, this is the best place I have found yet, for my pet sitting my grooming.

Hands down the best pet hotel on earth.  This place is out of this world as soon as you walk in gives you the feeling you're in a fancy human hotel. Doesn't smell like dogs like most boarding places do , is so clean and the staff is wonderful they look like they  loved to work there with the puppies. Was our first time and for sure my Cudi will be back for day camp and overnight stay. The fact that I can check on him thanks to the cameras gives me peace , every time I did saw my pup having a blast also saw how dedicated  the staff is saw them multiple time giving me puppy lots of affection also saw them cleaning after some.puppy accidents at day camp.
