Great service in the bar. The owner is genuine and on site a lot of the time. His son Mark is a bartender and he is perfection when it comes to service and customer satisfaction. The place is classy and the bar has a unique look that Modesto needs. The food is just as good as the atmosphere. A+ service is hard to beat! Check it out.

What a wonderful experience I had tonight eating at the Bayou Restaurant in Modesto California the staff are excellent personal friendly they really take the time to get to know you and treat you like like friends now let's talk about the food the food was excellent I had fried calamari which was very light and crispy I had a wonderful house salad and saving the best for last was the gumbo soup it was very delicious the spices added a special touch way it was prepared excellent gumbo soup it was out of this world I found a new restaurant in Modesto and it is well worth it you have to try it

The Bayou Burger was the best tasting I experienced. Service is fantastic, always with a smile. A must go.

DAM! The blackened prime rib was excellent. My husbands gumbo was amazing .... The desserts ..... OMG. and we never get dessert! Jessica was a awesome server & the cooks are great too. Have to try the Blue Bayou, very good drink 😊
