Knowledgeable staff with an elitist attitude. Didn't have much concern about helping me pick out a bike, especially once they realized I want buying a multi thousand dollar bike.

I want to like these people, I really do. They are knowledgeable, quick, and have good service overall. I don't have any complaints in the QA department.

What I do not like is their upsell. Beware of taking your bike in for service here, they will try to sell you all sorts of tune up services. IMO, only go there if you are absolutely certain you cannot do a job yourself. They are on the expensive side, so you should be prepared to say no to the "brake adjustment" or similarly named service, what they do could be done by any reasonable person in 5 minutes, definitely not worth the $10–15 they charge for each brake.

There's a bit of an elitist mindset here, they sneer on anyone who wants or owns a budget bike.

All in all, like a trip to the dentist's office. I don't want to go, but I sometimes have to.

Good selection and get you pretty much anything you want. Not too shabby prices either.

Great people, very knowledgeable and willing to work with you. I have several high end bikes including a top of the line downhill bike and I only trust the people at the bike rack to touch it.

There are a lot of good resources for bikes, bike parts, bike accessories, bike maintenance and bike wisdom--- but The Bike Rack has all of that as well as amazing customer service to boot. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and I never feel alienated or swindled like I sometimes do at other shops. These guys are honest and passionate about bikes and bike culture, so please stop in and support this wonderful local business.
