The food at Blue Door is undeniably delicious, however, my wife and I are both vegetarian, and they used to have a build your own black bean burger option, which was awesome. Unfortunately, they recently changed their menu to having just a set black bean burger than you can't add certain toppings to, such as egg. Their decision to change the menu, and the not allow you to add certain toppings, doesn't make any sense. Please add the BBB back to the build your own menu!!

**Update: I wasn't sure how to reply to the response from the owner, so I'll reply here... First of all, thanks for your reply! However, I've been told by three separate employees that you can't add an egg to the BBB unless you get the breakfast set, but they said the breakfast set comes with bacon and that you can't take the bacon off. It seems you can add or change any other toppings on the BBB except an egg. Is this true??

Awesome place! Amazing food, great fast service. Healthy portions. Outside seating available. Only downside is there is no air conditioning, so it is a sauna on hot days. Still worth it though.

Great burgers! They are creative concoctions and always changing it up for something new. Love the Jiffy and tatchos! There is usually a wait here so if possible find an off time to come or have a pint in the bar area while waiting.

Can't beat their beer price+selection during happy hour.  Service is great, unfortunately the quality of food has taken a dive.

Used to be our regular stop, but:

- Quality of ground beef for the burgers is now low.  Taste and texture is off. 

- Wings are habitually under-cooked.  Dryish, chewy, springy and tough.  About as much fun to eat as rubber bands.

- Even the tots have been disappointing.  Cheaper supplier?  Freezer burned?  Not quite sure, but something's not right.

I've been to this restaurant more then a dozen times. They consistently have extremely tasty burgers that will not disappoint (with the exception of one instance where they were clearly overwhelmed with customers). They always have unique, delicious choices and specials that you MUST try! As other reviewers have said, expect a wait (often 30-60+ minutes on the weekend). Also not a great pick if you want to talk to the people you come with because, especially at peak times, you'll have to scream to hear each other over everyone else.
